- organise RIPE meetings which are open to everyone

- co-ordination with other partner organisations, RIPE NCC brings people together and are the neutral organisation with open processes to promote co-ordination

NCC tries to stay abreast of tech. developments and set up projects where neutrality and impartiality are needed
