The minutes of the January 13 Teleconference were approved. Steve to place in public archives. 2. The IESG tentatively approved creation of the Internationalized Domain Name System (idn) Working Group in the Internet Area of the IETF. A charter tweaking is to be done by Thomas and sent to the IESG. If no problems are raised within a few days, Steve to send announcement. 3. The IESG approved creation of the Configuration Management with SNMP (snmpconf) Working Group in the Operations and Management Area of the IETF. Steve to send announcement. 4. The IESG tentatively approved the rechartering of the rmonmib WG. As the changes are significant, Steve to send Review message to IETF- Announce and new-work. After one week, new charter becomes active charter. 5. The IESG approved publication of Implementation of L2TP Compulsory Tunneling via RADIUS as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 6. The IESG tentatively approved publication of RADIUS Accounting Modifications for Tunnel Protocol Support as an Informational RFC. Randy needs to check on a couple of items. Once he sends his ok, Steve to send announcement. 7. The IESG held off on approving publication of RADIUS Extensions as an Informational RFC to give Marcus time to conduct a detailed review. 8. The IESG held off on approving publication of Intrusion Detection Message Exchange Requirements as an Informational RFC. Vern to draft note to WG suggesting changes. A new version of the document is expected. 9. The IESG approved publication of Proxy PAR as an Informational RFC. Steve is NOT to send announcement until draft-ietf-ospf-atm-nn is approved. 10. The IESG approved publication of Media Gateway control protocol architecture and requirements as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 11. The IESG held off on approving publication of NECP the Network Element Control Protocol as an Informational RFC to provide time for the Transport Area Directorate to review. 12. The IESG had no problem with the publication of DSA and RSA Key and Signature Encoding for the KeyNote Trust Management System as an Informational RFC. Steve to notify RFC Editor. 13. The IESG agreed that consensus on Protocol & Document Actions would be based on the number of folks who can convey opinions (i.e. not including those who abstain for cause).
