The minutes of the November 29 Teleconference were approved. Steve to place in public archives. 2. The IESG tentatively appoved publication of NAT Friendly Application Design Guidelines on November 11. The document was submitted and announced on December 3, and the announcement was sent. 3. Subsequent to the November 29 telechat, RFC2741, Agent Extensibility (AgentX) Protocol, and RFC2742, Definitions of Managed Objects for Extensible SNMP Agents, were apporoved as Draft Standards. Steve sent the announcement on December 6, 2001. 4. The IESG tentatively approved publication of Requirements for Reliable Server as an Informational RFC, pending additional review, on November 29. The review was completed and the announcement was sent December 6, 2001. 5. The IESG approved publication of Overview and Principles of Internet Traffic Engineering as an Informational RFC on November 29, but not announced until text for an RFC Editor note was received. The announcement was sent December 6, 2001. 6. The IESG approved publication of Defining the IETF as a BCP. Steve to send announcement including a RFC Editor request to change the references to RFC numbers to instead point to BCP numbers. 7. Jeff to check with SMIME WG for their reaction to publishing Use of ECC Algorithms in CMS as an Informational RFC. If no issues are raised, Steve to send announcement, expanding the ECC acronym in the docunment title to Elliptic Curve Cryptography. 8. Steve to send WG review message for Entity MIB (entmib) 9. Steve to send WG review message for Robust Header Compression (rohc) 10. The IESG approved the replacement charter for the Multiparty Multimedia Session Control(mmusic) WG. Steve to update the WG record. 11. Steve to send WG review message for Content Distribution Internetworking (cdi) 12. The IESG approved publication of Stream Control Transmission Protocol Applicability Statement as an Informational RFC. Scott to provide text for note; Steve to send announcement. 13. The IESG approved publication of A Message Bus for Local Coordiantion as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 14. The IESG had no problem with the publication of Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) - Application/dicom MIME Sub-type Registration as an Informational RFC. Steve to notify RFC Editor. 15. The IESG tentatively approved publication of SIP-H.323 Interworking Requirements as an Informational RFC. Changes are needed and will be handled as an I-D update. When 03 is available, Allison to reviewe and let Steve know all is OK. Once received, Steve to send announcement. 16. The IESG tentatively had no problem with the publication of Windows 2000 Kerberos Change Password and Set Password Protocols as an Informational RFC, but want "Microsoft" inserted into the title. Marcus to touch base with authors. Steve will then inform RFC Editor. 17. Internet Printing Protocol (IPP):The 'indp' Delivery Method for Event Notifications and Protocol/1.0 was not approved because of its Security Considerations text. Update required. 18. Internet Printing Protocol (IPP): IPP URL Scheme was returned to the WG with a collection of editorial changes. Update required. Ned to convey to I-D authors. 19. Definitions of Managed Objects for HDSL2 and SHDSL Lines was not approved for publication due to security concerns that need to be addressed. 20. Framework for MPLS-based Recovery was held over. 21. Action on Generic Registry-Registrar Protocol Requirements was deferred as there will be an update to the document. 22. Action on URIs, URLs, and URNs: Clarifications and Recommendations Report from the joint W3C/IETF URI Planning Interest Group was deferred. Patrik to contact author. 23. Action on APEX Endpoint Servers was put on hold pending a review by the APEX WG. Ned to contact WG, Steve to notify RFC Editor and document authors. 24. The IESG had no problem with the publication of IEEE 802.1X RADIUS Usage Guidelines as an Informational RFC. Steve to notify RFC Editor.
