The IESG takes no position on whether it should be published, and suggests that the RFC Editor consults the IANA about it. That said, it appears to depend on constructs such as a national or international trademark registry, which do not exist. The IESG suggests that it may not be feasible to implement as described. 12. Steve was tasked with requesting an extended extension for Service Discovery Protocol from the RFC Editor. 13. The IESG tentatively approved publication of Finding Stuff-(How to discover services) as an Experimental Protocol, pending Keith's review. Steve to send announcement once Keith conveys his approval. Next teleconference will be after the DC IETF Meeting.
