The IESG tentatively approved publication of MADCAP Multicast Scope Nesting State Option as a Proposed Standard. Thomas to check out -05 when announced, and let Steve know when it is OK to send the announcement. 3. The IESG approved publication of Benchmarking Methodology for LAN Switching Devices as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 4. The IESG approved publication of The Reliable Multicast Design Space for Bulk Data Transfer as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 5. Thomas to draft a note to the RFC Editor for The Cisco SRP MAC Layer Protocol . Once received, Steve to include in message to RFC Editor stating no problem with the publication of this document as an Informational RFC. 6. Steve to notify RFC Editor that the IESG has requested both the TRADE and AAA WGs to review BASE (Billing- and Accounting-System Exchange-Protocol Protocol Specification . At a minimum, the IESG will request a title change to reflect that this is a company specific protocol. 7. Steve to notify RFC Editor that the Internet Area ADs will solicit IETF WG review for DNS Top Level Domain For Private Networks . It was also noted that the topic seems to fall under the auspices of ICANN and replicates the issues addressed in RFC2606. 1.
